Career
Amateur
Growing up in Indonesia, Mizrahie distinguished herself as perhaps the only Jewish female golfer in her country. Certainly, she was the most successful. Although she did not take up golf until the age of 14 - barefoot and with only four clubs - Mizrahie won her first of four consecutive Indonesian Women’s Amateur’s at the age of 17 (1968). She came to the United States to study medicine but language barriers made that pursuit difficult. Instead, Mizrahie continued her golfing interests and won the 1974 California Publinx title.
