Carrer

In 1993, played a limited schedule of four events due to tendonitis in her left arm, Tied for 24th at the Jamie Farr Toledo Classic, Tied for 35th at the Itoki Hawaiian Ladies Open.In June, she was named women’s golf coach at Southern Methodist University.

In 1992, competed in 19 events. Best finish was a tie for 26th at the Nabisco Dinah Shore. Tied for 28th at the Northgate Computer Classic. Recorded her season-low round of 69 during the second round of the SAFECO Classic.

Joined the Tour in 1983.

Originally posted her career-best finish, a solo second, in 1984 at the United Virginia Bank Classic.

Highest ranking on the money list was in 1984 when she ranked 29th overall with $64,555.

Placed in the top 10 four times during 1988 including a solo second-place finish in the Konica San Jose Classic.

Enjoyed her most successful financial season in 1988, ranking 42nd on the money list with $74,310 in earnings.

Tied her career-best finish with a solo second place finish at the 1989 Boston Five Classic.

Due to pregnancy with her second child, she competed in only 11 events during the 1991 season.

Tied for sixth at the 1991 Sara Lee Classic.

Amateur
Marino’s amateur resume includes an outstanding collegiate career at Southern Methodist University. She was named a 1982 and 1983 NCAA All-American and also was a 1982 AIAW All-American. She placed third at the 1982 AIAW Nationals. Her junior career was highlighted by designation as the 1978 American Junior Golf Association Player of the Year. She captured the 1978 Western Junior and was a semi-finalist that same year at the USGA Junior Girls Championship. Named a member of the United States Curtis Cup squad in 1982, Marino also finished as runner-up to Juli Inkster at the 1982 U.S. Amateur.
