Career Highlights

  • Joined the Tour in 1978.
  • In 1982, she collected her first tournament win at the Chrysler-Plymouth Classic.
  • 1985 proved to be her second most successful financial season when she won $84,462 and twice tied for third: the Chrysler-Plymouth Classic and the Portland Ping Golf Championship.
  • In 1986, she earned $82,406 on the strength of six top-10 finishes including a tie for fifth in the du Maurier Ltd. Classic, one of the LPGA’s four major championships.
  • Has finished in the top 50 on the season money list nine times.
  • Had the most successful financial season ever in 1990 by winning $88,660 on the strength of seven top-20 finishes.
  • Had three top-10 finishes and six top-20 performances in 1991, despite being sidelined for part of the season with a left shoulder injury.

    Morse won the New York State Women’s Amateur twice. She also captured the New York Girls Junior title before attending the University of Miami. She captained the 1977 AIAW National Championship team for the Hurricanes.
