Career

• Had her most successful season in 1989 when she earned $73,522 and ranked 43rd on the money list.
• She tied for sixth in the 1989 Mitsubishi Motors Ocean State Open and tied for eighth in the 1989 Jamie Farr Toledo Classic
• In 1990, played in only 19 events having taken time off due to surgery.
• Posted a second-place finish at the 1993 JCPenney Classic with partner Tom Seickmann. Recorded her career-best official finish of a tie for third in the 1993 Youngstown-Warren LPGA Classic where she also posted a career-low score of 65 during the final round.
• In 1993, she set her career-best season scoring average of 72.20. 

Amateur Vidal did not begin playing golf until 1981. She won the Nevada State Amateur title in 1981 and 1982 and the Mexican Amateur Championship in 1983. In 1984, she was runner-up at the Western Amateur, the Broadmoor Invitational and the Trans-National andwas chosen as an alternate for the World Cup Team. The following year she won the International Four-Ball Championship and was runner-up in the Mexican Amateur.
