Career
A veteran of 24 years on Tour, Jo Ann has always been one of the LPGA’s most colorful and outspoken members, as well as one of its most consistent players. She broke through with her first win in the 1965 Jackson Invitational and has won five more titles since, including the 1974 Colgate-Dinah Shore. That was her best season ever as she won more than $67,000 and finished fourth on the final money list.

Amateur
Jo Ann was twice medalist, three times runner-up and in 1954 the winner of the Alabama State Women’s Amateur. She won several other local events and was also a quarterfinalist in the 1954 U.S. Amateur.
