Career Highlights

Joined the Tour in 1981.

Competed on the Women’s European Tour in 1986 and captured the Hennessy French Open.

1987 remains her most successful season on the LPGA Tour.

Recorded her career-low score of 67 during the 1987 PING-Cellular One LPGA Championship and went on to finish in a tie for second, which remains her career-best finish.

1988 was her last full season on Tour when she competed in 19 events.

Amateur
Leadbetter won the 1976 Arizona State High School Championship. She also captured both the 1977 and 1978 USGA Public Links Championships. Leadbetter was runner-up at the 1977 Mexican Amateur Championship. Leadbetter played for Arizona State University where she captured one tournament title in 1977. She was also the 1978 Arizona State Stroke Play champion.
