Career Highlights

  • Had her most successful financial season in 1986 when she earned nearly $30,000.
  • Recorded her career-best finish of solo fourth place at the 1986 Corning Classic after posting her career-low round of 65 during the final round.
  • Finished in solo sixth place in the 1986 GNA/Glendale Federal Classic.
  • Prior to joining the Tour, she competed on the WPGT and Tampa Bay mini-tours.
  • Qualified for the Tour on her first attempt.
  • Took the 1989 and 1990 seasons off and worked as an assistant teaching professional at Sweetwater Country Club in Houston, Texas.

    Hunt gained her competitive experience in the Lone Star State before venturing into professional golf. She was the Texas State Amateur champion in 1980. Hunt also won the Women’s West Texas State Championship in 1980 and 1981 and was a member of the Texas Tech University golf team.
