Career


  • In 2011, became a Rolex First-Time Winner at the Mizuno Classic, where she defeated Shanshan Feng in a three-hole playoff; led the Tour in sand saves.
  • In 2010, best finish was a tie for sixth at the season-opening Honda PTT LPGA Thailand; tied for ninth at the RICOH Women's British Open.
  • In 2009, best finish was a tie for second at the CN Canadian Women's Open, where she carded a season-low 65 in the final round; also tied for ninth at the Mizuno Classic; won the Axa Ladies Golf Tournament on the LPGA of Japan (JLPGA) - her eighth international victory.
  • In 2008, best finish were fifth place at the Stanford International Pro-Am and a tie for fifth at the SBS Open at Turtle Bay;during the first round of the RICOH Women's British Open became the 15th player in LPGA Tour history to card back-toback eagles (ninth, par 4; 10th par 5) and went on to tie for seventh; won two events on the JLPGA: Suntory Ladies Golf Tournament and Miyagi TV Cup Dunlop Ladies Open Golf.
  • In 2007, as a member of the LPGA of Japan (JLPGA), won the Mizuno Classic, becoming the 16th non-LPGA member in history to win an LPGA event; became the youngest player in JLPGA history to finish first on the money list with four additional wins on the JLPGA, including the Life Card Ladies, Resort Trust Ladies, Stanley Ladies and the Eliel Ladies.
  • In 2006, competed on the JLPGA and tied for ninth at the Mizuno Classic.
  • In 2005, turned professional in August; won the LPGA Championship Konica Minolta Cup on the JLPGA. 

Amateur 

Ueda had a successful amateur career, recording 15 top-10 finishes in 23 events. She earned two wins at the 2002 National Secondary Schools Golf Tournament (group winner), and was the individual champion at the 2004 Kyushu Secondary Schools Golf Tournament-Spring. She carded five runner-up finishes, including two at the Japan Amateur Women's Tournament in 1999 and 2000; and posted another tie for second at the 2001 Kyushu Secondary Schools Golf Tournament in the junior high division. In back-to-back events Ueda was also runner-up at the 2002 Kyushu Amateur Women's Tournament and National Secondary Schools Golf Tournament-Spring.
