  • Before joining the LPGA in 1986, Taylor played on the Women's Florida Golf Tour where she won two events.
  • Her best season remains 1987, her rookie year, when she earned over $33,000 and posted her career-best finish: a tie for second in the Jamie Farr Toledo Classic.
  • Her season-best finish in 1988 was sixth place at the Jamie Farr Toledo Classic.
  • Tied for 14th in the 1989 Atlantic City Classic. Posted her career-low round of 67 during the second round of the 1989 Orix Hawaiian Ladies Open.
  • Fired her season-low score of 68 during the third round of the 1992 Welch's Classic where she tied for 13th.
  • Best finish in 1997 was a tie for 33rd at the State Farm Rail Classic, where she shot her season-low score of 68 during the first and final rounds. 

Amateur Taylor captured the 1982 Public Links Championship and followed that with a runner-up finish in 1983. She was a semifinalist in the 1983 Trans-National and a quarterfinalist in the 1983 U.S. Amateur. Taylor posted a runner-up finish in the 1983 Women's South Atlantic Championship.
