Career
In 1988, she posted a career-low scoring average of 72.87 and produced five top-10 finishes with her best showing a seventh-place finish at the Atlantic City Classic. In 1987, she was hampered by a back injury and mononucleosis. Despite her injuries, she had her best financial season of her career. In only 24 events, she earned $92,705 and placed in the top-10 six times. Her best finish in 1987 was a tie for second at the Mayflower Classic. In Quinlan’s rookie year, she captured her first LPGA title at the 1984 MasterCard International Pro-Am.

Amateur
Quinlan captured the 1978 Massachusetts State Junior Championship and held the State High School title for three consecutive years beginning in 1977. She was the 1979 Massachusetts State Amateur champion and 1982 New England Amateur titleholder. She culminated her amateur career finishing as runner-up at the 1983 U.S. Amateur.
