Career

  • In 2008, recorded a season-best tie for 11th at the Navistar LPGA Classic Presented by Maxx Force; partnered with Cindy Figg-Currier to win the BJ’s Charity Championship on The Legends Tour – the Official Legends Tour of the LPGA; carded back-to-back season-low 66s during the first and second rounds of the LPGA State Farm Classic, where she tied for 25th.
  • In 2007, best finish was a tie for 12th at the Safeway Classic Presented by Pepsi; recorded her sixth LPGA career hole-in-one during the final round of the Michelob ULTRA Open at Kingsmill
  • In 2006, best finish was a tie for eighth at the Florida’s Natural Charity Championship hosted by Nancy Lopez, where she tied her career-low 63 during the third round.
  • In 2005, recorded a season-best tie for 12th at the LPGA Corning Classic.

Amateur A golfer by the age of 5, Turner was the 1974-75 Carolina's Junior champion. While playing for Furman University, she was a medalist at three tournaments, including the Women’s Southern Intercollegiate. She was selected to the All-American Team in 1979.
