Started playing golf at the age of 6...Has one brother, Nicolas...Hobbies outside of golf include watching movies, reading, playing UNO cards and ping-pong...If she did not choose the LPGA as a way to make a living she would have been a psychologist because she likes to hear people and help them with their problems...Qualified for the LPGA Tour on her first attempt.
Career
- In 2012, best finish was a tie for 37th at the Manulife Financial LPGA Classic.
- In December 2011, turned professional, finished tied for 15th at the LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament to earn Priority List Category 11 for the 2012 LPGA season.
Amateur
Tanco enjoyed a successful amateur career, winning the 2008 AJGA Rolex Girls, 2009 AJGA Rolex Tournament of Champions, 2010 AJGA Annika Invitational, and 2011 Western Amateur Championship. She was named the AJGA Rolex Player of the Year in 2008 and 2009.
