PGA Class A Professionals

PGA Class A Professionals from the following organizations are eligible to participate in the certification track designation “PGA A2”

  • PGA of America, PGA of Canada,  PGA of Europe, PGA of South Africa

PGA Class A members are exempt from the Level I and II education programs and testing. You will have up to 2 years to complete the certification requirements. You will be able to complete all the requirements through an online course and in-person Practical Teaching Evaluation (PTE) testing that is currently offered twice a year. Members of other PGA organizations should email professionals.edu@lpga.com to see if they are eligible for this program

LPGA Class A Tour Members

LPGA Class A Tour members who join the LPGA Professionals membership will have a membership status of LPGA A-2. You will have up to 2 years to complete the certification requirements.

You will be able to complete all the requirements through an online course and in-person Practical Teaching Evaluation (PTE) testing that is currently offered twice a year. LPGA A-2 members are exempt from the Level I and II education programs and testing.

LPGA Epson Tour Members

LPGA Epson Tour players are exempt from the Playing Ability Test (PAT). The LPGA Certification is comprised of 4 – 16 week semester courses that must be completed in the following order for Epson Tour Members seeking membership with the LPGA.

  1. Level I Online Course and In-person Seminar
  2. Level II Online Course
  3. Level II Online Lesson Model Prep-Course
  4. Level III Online Course and In-person Seminar

Graduates from Keiser University College of Golf

We are pleased to announce any female Keiser University College of Golf Associate Program or Master's Degree Program graduate is eligible to apply for LPGA Professionals Apprentice status. Please note the Master's Degree Program only applies for those candidates who do not already have a Keiser University College of Golf Bachelor's degree. Any female Keiser University College of Golf Bachelor Program graduate is eligible to apply for LPGA Professionals Class KU-A2 status, upon meeting membership eligibility requirements!

Industry Professionals

An Industry Professional is defined as someone not classified under other Professional associations and has been employed in the Golf industry for ten (10+) or more years. Industry Professionals who seek to be certified by the LPGA Professionals and achieve full Class A status will be classified as A-2 members if their application is approved. To apply for the A-2 Program, please complete the Member Interest Form below and email a cover letter and resume to professionals.edu@lpga.com detailing your experience for the past 10+ years, including any playing experience, and reasons for wanting to become an LPGA Professionals member. This information is submitted for review and if it is approved, you will be sent next steps, including how pay the Membership Dues/Application Fee and register for the A-2 Course. Please allow up to 30 days to hear back once you have submitted your information.
