Diamond Resorts Tournament of Champions - Tranquilo Golf Club

This hole, a short dogleg right which is drivable for the longer players, provides a great risk-reward opportunity because of its two-tiered green and the angle at which it sits. To drive the green, the player must clear a bunker and a few trees on the right side of the fairway. The risk off the tee is a miss to the right or a shot that ends up in the bunker. Failure to reach the green can leave a tricky pitch shot into an elevated putting surface guarded by a large bunker on the right side.

ISPS Handa Australia Women's Open - The Grange Golf Club

This is a challenging risk-reward par 5 where the green is reachable in two, given a well-placed tee shot. Players must navigate a central fairway bunker off the tee and choose whether to play over, left or right of the sand. Bunkering further down the fairway on the right influences the second shot, requiring players to decide whether to play it safe or go for the green. Bunkers are located on both sides of the green, placing a premium on accuracy if the player is to have a chance at an eagle putt.
Par 415

Honda LPGA Thailand - Siam Country Club, Pattaya Old Course

This hole, a drivable par 4, offers players a strong risk-reward opportunity. It will be played at just 265 yards for two of the four rounds during the tournament with accessible hole locations for a possible eagle or albatross. Weather permitting, the hole will be set up as drivable on Friday and Sunday.
Par 513

HSBC Women's World Championship - Sentosa Golf Club, Tanjong Course

The tee shot on this dogleg-left par 5 is key with bunkers on the left and right protecting the landing zone. Players can either tee up short for safety or go long and right, shy of the bunkers, in a bid to reach the green in two. Care is needed with a bold approach here, since a deceivingly elevated green which falls away to the back will skittle over hit shots.
Par 515

Bank of Hope Founders Cup - Wildfire Golf Club at JW Marriott Phoenix Desert Ridge Resort

This hole is a reachable par 5 which presents good opportunities for birdies and eagles late in the round. A desert area borders the entire left side, and this must be avoided at all costs, but the fairway here is wide enough for the player to be aggressive off the tee. A well-protected green will provide a reasonable birdie chance for those who play the hole strategically. If the wind is favorable, the green light is definitely on here for either birdie or eagle.
Par 416

Kia Classic - Aviara Golf Club

This is a reachable but challenging par 4 where risk and reward lurk in equal measure on and around the green, which is hourglass-shaped with water lying in wait to the left. This hole, a dogleg left, has a generous landing area off the tee but can become especially tricky because of its sloping fairway and uneven lies. Accurate club selection for an approach into an exceptionally deep green is critical, and care must be taken when the pin is cut left.
Par 511

ANA Inspiration - Mission Hills Country Club , Dinah Shore Tournament Course

This par 5 will give Players an advantage who go for it and find the green in two. The risk comes in because the fairway is narrow off the tee. Varying pin placements increase the difficulty on the green.
Par 513

LOTTE Championship - Ko Olina Golf Club

A picturesque par 5 where an elevated tee box overlooks the entire hole but the prevailing wind here can play havoc with the tee shot, which can easily drift right toward a water feature unless the ball is kept low. The water is bordered by a fairway sand bunker, and that can provide some safety if the player opts for the bold strategy of trying to reach he green in two. Success on this three-tiered green requires a skilled putter.
Par 515

HUGEL-JTBC Championship - Wilshire Country Club

The longest hole on the course, this par 5 gives a player the chance to go for the green in two but she needs to balance the risk with the reward and navigate the 14 bunkers that protect this hole. A bunker down the right side of the fairway requires a carry of 240 yards so an accurate drive is essential here. The green is protected by a deep creek in front that also wraps around the back so club selection is important, especially when the pin is cut front right or back left.
Par 515

Par 317

Pure Silk Kingsmill Championship - River Course at Kingsmill Resort

The signature hole on the River Course at Kingsmill Resort, this par 3 features an extremely deep green which makes precise club selection for the tee shot the highest priority. The right side of the green poses a lot of danger, so care must be taken when the pin is cut right. The safety zone here is just short and left of the green.
Par 311

US Women's Open Conducted by the USGA - Country Club of Charleston

This par 3 is a reverse Redan hole and quite dramatic in its setting. With a false front of about 25 yards, the green slopes from on top of the ridge to the rear and two very deep bunkers guard either side of the putting complex. Depending on where the pin is cut, reward can be achieved with a bold line off the tee but risk abounds if an imprecise shot is hit here.
Par 59

ShopRite LPGA Classic - Seaview Hotel and Golf Club, Bay Course

This par 5 has a generous fairway off the tee shot but be careful with the second shot as deep cross bunkers guard against errant or short shots. Once you have negotiated your second shot, a deep bunker guards the right side of the green, while the left and back side protected with natural grass mounds. The green slopes severely to the right and away from you. Par is a good score here.
Par 417

Meijer LPGA Classic for SimplyGive - Blythefield Country Club

This 400-yard par 4 doglegs from right to left and possible reward awaits the bold player who challenges the right side of the fairway off the tee to set up a shorter approach shot into the green. However, the trees on the right loom large and can block any shot that is too short off the tee or that strays too far right. A great risk-reward hole.
Par 416

KPMG Women's PGA Championship - Hazeltine National Golf Club

This hole can be a brute, and has been described by twice major champion Johnny Miller as "probably the hardest four par I ever played". The drive here is over Hazeltine Lake and must also be kept short of a creek on the left side of the fairway. The right rough can be penal while the narrow, elevated green angles away and is difficult to hold with approach shots. Hole locations along the right side of the green bring the lake back into play. Literally anything can happen here.
Par 412

Walmart NW Arkansas Championship - Pinnacle Country Club

This is a wonderful risk-reward hole that allows players to decide if they should play it safe and lay back off the tee, or take the risk and use driver over trees on the right to set up a shorter approach into a difficult green. The huge putting surface features a lower right-side shelf that requires considerable skill to get the ball close.
Par 515

Thornberry Creek LPGA Classic - Thornberry Creek at Oneida

Water lines the entire left side of this challenging par 5 so accuracy is required off the tee from where a fairway bunker on the right also needs to be avoided. The smart play here is to lay up short of the water that separates the green from the fairway but the bold player can take the risk and try to reach the green in two. The peninsula green is receptive to a short iron for the third shot.
Par 517

Marathon Classic - Highland Meadows Golf Club

This Par 5 challenges the player with a "blind" tee shot over the hill to a fairly narrow, tree lined, fairway. Any player wishing to have a go at the green in two will need to draw the ball off the tee as the slender fairway turns left in the landing area. If their tee shot finds the short grass, many players will almost certainly have a go at the well-bunkered, tiny green. Any player successful in finding the green, will almost certainly be rewarded with a reasonably makeable eagle putt.
Par 314

The Evian Championship - Evian Resort Golf Club

This par 3 can be played from 225 yards to 150 yards depending on hole location and the tee being used. The challenge doesn’t stop with the tee shot, the green slopes against the terrain so a putt that looks like it breaks one way will go completely the opposite way. The players will have to rely on their practice rounds to play the correct break, different from what their eyes tell them, to avoid a big number.
Par 415

AIG Women's British Open - Woburn Golf Club

As you approach the closing stretch the competition begins to tighten.  Nevertheless there is another opportunity to let fly.  Seve at the Men's British Masters, hit in the woods on the right but recovered to make a birdie and propel him to claim victory.
Par 414

Aberdeen Ladies Scottish Open - Renaissance Club

The putting green slopes away on both sides, which means a well struck iron shot will be required. There is a rock wall players will have to play over on their 2nd shots (will be an integral part of the course during the event, no relief…).
Par 514

Canadian Pacific Women's Open - Magna Golf Club

An enticing risk-reward hole, this par 5 runs downhill with a slight dogleg in the landing area over bunkers and a small ravine. This combination makes for a tough decision on how much the player would like to risk and cut off on the drive. A player who is successful with a more aggressive line off the tee will reap the reward from a lot of roll and have a chance to go for the green in two.
Par 512

Cambia Portland Classic - Columbia Edgewater Country Club

Par 416

Indy Women in Tech Championship - Brickyard Crossing Golf Club

With water lying in wait down the entire left side, this par 4 sets up as a wonderful risk-reward hole. Any player taking a risk and biting off more of the hazard off the tee will be rewarded with a shorter shot into the green.
Par 517

VOA North Dallas LPGA Classic - Old American Golf Club

Par 517

Buick Shanghai LPGA - Qizhong Garden Golf Club

This reachable Par 5 sets up as an ideal risk-reward hole. Players can take the conservative route and make it a three-shot approach to the green or they can take the more aggressive angle. If a player wants to go for the green in two, the key will be making sure their tee shot hugs the left side where water can come into play but it's necessary in order to get the best angle in which to attack the green with their second shot.
Par 517

BMW Championship - LPGA International

A potentially reachable par 5 where a good tee shot will offer the player the opportunity to have a go at the green in two. Any player wishing to be successful in this endeavor two must play a well-struck second shot in order to negotiate the water on the front right. Poorly struck shots that come up short of the green run the risk of finding a watery grave as the run-up area to the green slopes heavily towards the water.
Par 417

Swinging Skirts LPGA Championship - TaShee Resort & Country Club

Par 517

TOTO Japan Classic - Seta Golf Club

This 476 yard Par 5 plays uphill to a narrow green pitched severely from back to front. After a drive into the fairway, the player will need to choose to either go for the green, setting up a potential birdie, or lay up into an area guarded by 5 bunkers. A poor second shot going for this green in two leaves the player in a tough spot playing for par.
