Taking to Instagram on Friday morning, Jaye Marie Green has announced that she will not participate in the 2023 LPGA Tour season.
The 29-year-old American posted saying that after “lots of thoughts and prayers and conversations” she will not compete this year and is “hoping to return in either 2024 or 2025.”
Green announced last July on Instagram that she would be taking medical leave for the rest of the 2022 season. She has not participated in an LPGA Tour event since the 2022 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship at Congressional Country Club.
Green has been an LPGA Tour Member since the 2014 season and has recorded eight career top-10 finishes, earning $1,679,572 throughout her career.
