After regaining the top spot in the Rolex Women's World Golf Rankings following her fourth win of the 2023 season in November, Lilia Vu spent the off-season as world No. 1. The Epson Tour graduate’s second major victory at the AIG Women’s Open first catapulted her to the highest ranking she had ever held in her young career in August.
The two-time major winner amassed just over $3.5 million in earnings last season, also taking home titles at the Honda LPGA Thailand, The Chevron Championship and The ANNIKA driven by Gainbridge at Pelican in addition to her win at Walton Heath Golf Club to help her earn Rolex Player of the Year Honors.
With only four players in the Rolex Rankings top 10 in this week's Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions – Lilia Vu (No. 1), Ruoning Yin (No. 2), Nelly Korda (No. 5) and Charley Hull (No. 8) – expect some changes in the standings after the first tournament of the season on Sunday, January 21.
