LPGA Tour Awards

Rolex Player of the Year
The prestigious Rolex Player of the Year award was introduced to the LPGA in 1966. LPGA Tour players are awarded points at each official LPGA tournament based on top-10 finishes with the top points earner taking home the prestigious honor each year.

Vare Trophy
The Vare Trophy was presented to the LPGA by Betty Jameson in 1952, in honor of the great American player Glenna Collett Vare. Vare Trophy scoring averages are computed on the basis of a Member's total yearly score in Official Tournaments divided by the number of official rounds she played during a season.

Louise Suggs Rolex Rookie of the Year
The Louise Suggs Rolex Rookie of the Year Award is given to the first-year player on the LPGA Tour who scores the most points based on finish position during a season. The award is named after LPGA Hall of Fame inductee, Louise Suggs. Suggs was also one of the 13 LPGA Tour Founders.

Heather Farr and Founders Awards
The Heather Farr Perseverance Award honors an LPGA Tour player who, through her hard work, dedication and love of the game of golf, has demonstrated determination, perseverance and spirit in fulfilling her goals as a player. The Founder's Award is given to an LPGA Member who, in the opinion of her playing peers, best exemplifies the spirit, ideals and values of the LPGA through her behavior and deeds.

Commissioner and Komen Awards
The Commissioner's award, introduced in 1991, honors a person or organization that has contributed uniquely to the LPGA and its Members, furthered the cause of women's golf, and possesses character and standards of the highest order.

Gold Driver Awards
The Gold Driver Awards are open to all LPGA Tournaments from the previous season and were voted upon by LPGA Tour players.

LPGA Pioneeres
The Founders Cup, which will always remember and respect the 13 women who founded the LPGA, also features a special tribute to "LPGA Pioneers" who played a critical role in building the largest and longest standing women's sports organization in the world.
