    Amateur
    Barrett won the 1987 Eastern Amateur and the 1988 Maryland State Amateur. While attending Longwood College in Farmville, Va., Barrett captured seven collegiate tournament titles, including the 1986-87 Small College National Championships. A four-time Division II All-American, Barrett received Division I All-American honorable mention honors in 1988. Barrett also was a three-time Academic All-American and five times made the Dean’s List at Longwood College. In 1988, prior to joining the LPGA, Barrett tied for 26th at the 1988 Greater Washington Open.
