Alexa Pano made the fifth hole-in-one of the 2024 LPGA Tour season on Friday at the JM Eagle LA Championship presented by Plastpro. The LPGA Tour sophomore aced the par-3 12th hole at Wilshire Country Club, holing out from 175 yards with her 6-iron.
It's the Epson Tour alum's first hole-in-one on the LPGA Tour and is the second of the week, as Jeongeun Lee5 aced the par-3 18th hole from 135 yards with her 9-iron during the opening round.
Friday's ace by the 19-year-old not only adds to her list of achievements but also contributes significantly to the CME Group Cares Challenge – Score 1 for St. Jude. This season-long initiative, which turns aces into donations, has a minimum guaranteed donation of $500,000 to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Pano's ace has now raised the 2024 donation total to an impressive $100,000, making a real difference in the fight against childhood cancer and life-threatening diseases.
