Hello!  I am thrilled to get started on my first LPGA season!  My journey here is a little different than the other rookies.  For starters, I am 32, married, with two beautiful children (Owen 5, Emma 3).  I had a great college career at LSU, finishing as a first team All-American and graduating in 2001.  Unfortunately, I suffered a hand injury during the second round of SEC's my senior year.  I was still able to finish the season (finishing 3rd at NCAA's), not yet knowing how damaging the injury was.  The more golf I played, the more my hand hurt.  I eventually needed two surgeries and was still not pain free.  My golf career was over...  It was time to focus on my other dream, a family.

Fast forward nine years (that's NINE, not a typo!), two kids, two dogs, and a career at ExxonMobil later... 

I came back to golf when my daughter was one.  I would go to the course after my husband returned home from work to play 9 holes.  Me time.  That was it.  Nothing more.  Funny thing happened, my hand didn't hurt at all (big shock) and my game was in pretty good shape after a nine year hiatus (bigger shock).  I realized this was my second chance.  I decided, with the overwhelming support of my husband and extended family, to pursue a career on the LPGA tour.  My dream since I was a little girl. A year and a half later, here I am, LPGA tour card in hand, ready for the adventure before me.
