LPGA's Vicky Hurst hosts AJGA event

After appearing in Arizona and Florida, this year’s AJGA Under Armour/Vicky Hurst Championship finds itself situated in Choudrant, La., at Squire Creek CC.
Hosted by LPGA professional Vicky Hurst, the tournament is in its third year on the AJGA schedule and has attracted talented juniors throughout the nation and from overseas, including France, Guatemala, India, South Africa, South Korea and Venezuela.
Part of the attraction to this tournament is the “Vicky Hurst” name, particularly among the significant number of talented female golfers drawn to the tournament. According to tournament director Annie Giangrosso, Hurst has been an integral part of the championship since its inception in 2010. More>>
Vicky Hurst’s Holy Trinity Golf Tournament Nears

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Vicky Hurst, LPGA star and Holy Trinity Class of 2008, will be helping support Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy’s annual golf tournament.
This year’s tournament will also be recognizing Headmaster Cathy Ford’s 25 years with the school and her pending retirement.

Hurst in position to make run at first LPGA victory

KOHLER, Wis. – It seems like Vicky Hurst has been making the LPGA rounds forever. Lest you forget, she’s only 22.
Shocking though that number may be, there’s one that’s more unbelievable: 80. That’s the number of LPGA starts Hurst has made since earning her LPGA card at the end of 2008, and not one has resulted in a win. It seems she’s inching closer.
Hurst held at least a share of the lead through much of the second round at Blackwolf Run. She three-putted the 18th for bogey to finish with a 2-under 70 and 3 under for the tournament. It left her in the top 5 on the leaderboard as the afternoon wave hit the course. More>>
Young L.P.G.A. Players in the Thick of a Major

HAVRE de GRACE, Md. — The 18-year-old rookie Vicky Hurst was striding toward the 18th green, where a birdie putt awaited her Friday. Her caddie, who was several yards behind, shouted Hurst’s name to get her attention, then gestured with both hands for her to slow down.
Hurst turned around and placed her hands on her hips in a motion instantly recognizable to any mother of a teenage girl. Her body language screamed, “Moooooom!” More>>
