I'm in Danville, CA because tomorrow is the first round of the CVS/pharmacy LPGA Challenge! I can't wait to get to the course and play. The weather is great and the course is in great condition, too.
The last time I wrote my Rookie blog, I was on my way to Arkansas. I had a very good week. I started playing better and making some putts, andI finished tied for 20. It rained a lot during the practice days and we couldn't play the Pro-Am. That was a little disappointing, but we had great weather the rest of the week! I would like to thank my caddy, Johnny, who was with me since the RICOH Women's British Open. He's helped me a lot, and I've enjoyed every week since he started working with me. He is back in Australia now. I hope he enjoys it and has fun at the beach surfing! :)
After Arkansas, I went to Spain and it looked like the rain followed me because the second round of the Spanish Open was cancelled and the tournament ended up being only three days. I had a great time playing the Spanish Open with all my friends from Europe and I also played well. I broke the course record by shooting 64, and I won a week in a great hotel in Marbella (south of Spain). For the tournament, I ended up tied for 5th.
After the Spanish Open, I went back home for an entire week. It was very nice to be at home again and see my family, my friends, and my dog! Since March, I went home a couple of times, but only for three or four days at a time, so being at home for a week felt pretty good!
As I said, I'm in Danville and tomorrow I will be playing early. I will let you guys know how this week goes and about my plans for the rest of the month!
Hope you guys follow us this week!
