I am now in Maryland. Three weeks ago at the Corning Classic, I was able to have a personal best 4th place. On the 3rd day, I shot a personal best "62" and was tied for the lead and was able to play in the final group, so I was nervous. I think this was the most nervous I have been all year. I was nervous from the starting hole to about the third hole. Slowly, I got used to the final group's atmosphere and was able to play my game.
In the end, I was two shots behind the winner, Yani Tseng. Even though I was unable to win, it was great experience for me to be able to finish in 4th place and play in the final group on the final day of the final Corning Classic. I am very sad that the Corning Classic will not be around next year. I only played in the Corning Classic once, but I think it was a great tournament. This week is the McDonald's LPGA Championship. This is my first Major tournament in my career. I want to be able to play my own game and not get caught up the atmosphere of a major tournament and have my name on the leaderbord this week!!
