Jenny Suh hits out of a bunker on the ninth green during round one of the Sybase Match Play Championship at Hamilton Farm Golf Club on May 19, 2011 in Gladstone, New Jersey.

Hi Everyone!

A lot has happened since my last blog, so I hope to get everyone caught up. In April, I played in the Avnet LPGA Classic in Mobile, Alabama and during the first round I had a hole-in-one on #14 of the Robert Trent Jones, Magnolia course! Although it was too much club, I hit my brand new TaylorMade five hybrid on this short par 3 of 155 yards. To be quite honest, the water hazard just short of the green made me really nervous. After some unpleasant flashbacks from my practice rounds, I decided that an up and down par from behind the green would be much easier than from the muddy water. But I guess hybrid was the right choice because my ball landed on the front of the green and rolled into the hole as if it were a perfectly stroked putt!

Not only did this hole-in-one help me make the two-day cut with a 4-under total, but I also qualified for the Sybase Match Play Championship! I was both shocked and excited to have qualified for such an esteemed tournament. For my first match of the Sybase Match Play Championship, I was paired against Hall of Fame member, Juli Inkster. I was ecstatic about the match-up because I have always been a huge fan of Juli's, and my outlook was positive because in the match Play format anything could happen. On this day, I was lucky enough to drop a couple more putts than Juli and won the match 2&1. However, the next day I lost my second match against the #1 ranked player in the world, Yani Tseng. Although my time at the Sybase Match Play Championship was shorter than I had hoped for, I feel honored and privileged to have played with two of the best and most humble players in women's golf.

I know I had previously written that I was going to blog about the delicious foods that I've devoured while traveling on the LPGA Tour, but I have recently gained an interest for cooking at home again. Hundreds of peoples' lives have been turned upside down due to the recent tragedies caused by the catastrophic storms and tornadoes that have been ripping through the country. These events have emphasized the importance of having somewhere to call home and have reminded me to always be more thankful of everything in my life.

In the next few weeks I hope to find some down time to try new recipes and work on my poor cooking skills at home. My goal is to whip up a delicious or at least edible meal and be able to blog about it! But this week I am playing in the Shoprite LPGA Classic in Galloway, New Jersey and my boyfriend, Will, is caddying for me again! I'm looking forward to an exciting week with him and will not only enjoy but appreciate every moment because I know that I am extremely fortunate to be able to follow my dreams.
