Volunteers Needed for ShopRite LPGA Classic

HELP WANTED: 2012 ShopRite LPGA Classic Announces
Tournament Volunteer Registration Now Open

AtlantiCare Official Sponsor of the Volunteer Program

Galloway, NJ (February 9, 2012) - The ShopRite LPGA Classic returns to the famed Bay Course at Seaview Resort from May 28 to June 3, 2012, and its success depends heavily on the dedication of nearly 1,000 volunteers. Volunteers are needed to support a wide range of Tournament operations, including player scoring, clubhouse hospitality and assisting The Golf Channel with its television broadcast, among others.

"The success of the Tournament and its positive impact on the region is due to the continued and overwhelming support of ShopRite, our corporate partners and the flawless efforts of our loyal and dedicated volunteers," said Tim Erensen, Executive Director of the ShopRite LPGA Classic. "Each person plays a major role in making the ShopRite LPGA Classic one of South Jersey's most highly anticipated events of the year."

With the on-going support of AtlantiCare -- the Official Sponsor of the Volunteer Program -- the Tournament has assembled a valuable volunteer package. Each volunteer is required to purchase a $40 Official Volunteer Package that includes one official volunteer golf shirt; choice of hat or visor; free parking and entrance into the Tournament all week; two good any day grounds tickets to give away to family or friends; breakfast and lunch during days worked; and for those working a minimum of three shifts, a round of golf on the Tournament course -- Seaview's Bay Course -- for just one $25 cart fee.

"We're pleased to partner with the ShopRite LPGA Classic as it continues this wonderful event that benefits so many in our community - including some of the most fragile infants who spend time in AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit," said Lori Herndon, president and CEO, AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center. "The Classic's tradition of making a difference in our community mirrors AtlantiCare's commitment to building healthy communities."

Registration is open to the public, and special programs are available for groups such as high school teams, clubs and community organizations. To register online, visit www.ShopRiteLPGAClassic.com.
