LPGA and LPGA Futures Tour alumna Heather Daly-Donofrio will be inducted into the Connecticut Golf Hall of Fame this month. A four-time Futures Tour winner, Daly-Donofrio moved on to the 1998 LPGA Tour, where she won twice in 11 seasons and earned more than $1 million.
While playing the L PGA Tour, she returned to her Yale University alma mater to coach the women's golf team from 1997-2000. She was voted by fellow LPGA pros as the William and Mousie Powell Award recipient in 2005, as the player who "best exemplifies the spirit, ideals and values of the LPGA."
Daly-Donofrio also served as president of the LPGA Executive Committee while competing on the LPGA Tour. She currently works as director of media relations for the LPGA Tour.
A two-time winner of the Connecticut Women's Golf Association Championship, the veteran pro's selflessness was featured this fall on lpgafuturestour.com
