LPGA Tour and Teaching and Club Professional (T&CP) member Annette DeLuca captured the 2010 LPGA T&CP Southeast Section Championship at the historic West Palm Beach Golf Course in West Palm Beach, FL., to gain a coveted spot in the 2011 LPGA Championship field. DeLuca shot rounds of 78-68 for the victory. DeLuca teaches at the John Prince Golf learning Center in Lake Worth, FL. She also won the 2007 LPGA T&CP Southeast Section Championship. Prior to joining the LPGA T&CP, DeLuca played the LPGA Tour. She was a rookie in 1996 and had a career-best tie for second at the 1999 Sunrise Hawaiian Ladies Open. Her best finish in an LPGA major championship was a T-30 at the 2003 U.S. Women’s Open.
LPGA T&CP member Dede Cusimano carded rounds of 72-70 to edge out her competition in the Senior Division. Cusimano will begin teaching at the Gateway Golf and Country Club in Fort Myers, Florida, in the next few weeks. In 2009, Cusimano won the LPGA T&CP National Championship (Senior Division). She also won the 2008 LPGA T&CP Southeast Section Championship (Championship Division) and the 2003 T&CP National Championship.
