The round of the day goes to Kerr

And the round of the day goes to…Rolex Rankings No. 3 Cristie Kerr. Playing in the morning wave of the second round of the RICOH Women's British Open, Kerr fired a second-round 67. She made six birdies and one bogey on the day to sit four behind the leader Tseng. Kerr, like Tseng, is looking to add a third leg to her quest for the career Grand Slam. Kerr won the 2007 U.S. Women's Open and the 2010 LPGA Championship Presented by Wegmans.

After winning the LPGA championship by twelve shots and ascending to the No. 1 position in the Rolex Rankings, Kerr says she feels like herself again. After becoming the first American to sit atop the Rankings when she won the LPGA Championship Presented by Wegmans, Kerr said she did not manage her time well between golf, extra media requests, and getting much needed rest. Kerr is ready to reclaim the top position, "Now that I lost the No. 1 ranking, I want it back."
