    Amateur
    An outstanding player while at Michigan State University, Lauer won the National Collegiate Championship in 1973. Later that year she also reached the semi-finals of the U.S. Amateur. In 1974, she was a member of the U.S. Curtis Cup team and also tied for 12th as an amateur in the U.S. Women’s Open.
