Despite a lot of movement in the leaderboard on the Sunday’s final round of the Safeway Classic Presented by Coca-Cola, Mika Miyazato managed to hold on to her two-day lead to capture her first career victory on the LPGA Tour.

Mika Miyazato captures her first career victory in her 79th start on the LPGA Tour. She is the third Japanese player to win the Safeway Classic, joining Ai Miyazato (2010) and Ayaka Okamoto (1986).
