Rah enjoyed a successful amateur career winning the 2004 Safe Classic Amateur Open, 2007 PING Junior at the Woodlands, 2007 Rolex Girls Junior Championships and 2008 Safeway International Amateur Open. She was a two-time Rolex Junior All-American First Team Selection (2005, 2007) and a three-time member of the PING U.S. Junior Solheim Cup Team (2005,2007,2009).
