Solomon recorded three top-20 performances in 1987 with a tie for sixth at the Cellular One-Ping Championship representing her season-best finish.  She added a tie for 12th at the Henredon Classic and a tie for 20th at the Nabisco Dinah Shore.  She carded a season-low score of 67 during the final round of the S&H Golf Classic which boosted her into a tie for 21st.  Solomon’s most successful season remains 1985 where, despite a nagging back injury, four top-five finishes led her to more than $75,000 in season earnings.  Solomon joined the Tour in 1975 and in 1981 defeated Jane Blalock on the third hole of a sudden death play-off to win the Birmingham Classic, her only career victory.  In 1984, the Indiana native fired a career-low round of 66 during the J&B Scotch Pro-Am.
