Steinbach participated in only five events in 1988 and recorded her best finish of a tie for 45th place at the Jamie Farr Toledo Classic. Of Steinbach’s 14-year career on the LPGA Tour, her best season remains 1983, when she won a total of $23,116. She posted her career-best finish of fifth place at the 1979 Florida Lady Citrus Open in Orlando, Florida.
