5’8”, brown hair, hazel eyes… Graduated from University of Hawaii in 1975 with a B.A. in Liberal Studies… Credits Beth Kemp as the teacher who has most influenced her career… Enjoys teaching golf in Hawaii in the off season.


Career Highlights

  • Joined the LPGA Tour in 1976.
  • In 1989, Stubblefield requalified for the LPGA Tour for a fourth time.
  • Best season remains 1981 when she recorded her career-best finish of a tie for seventh and career-low round of 68 at the 1981 Birmingham Classic.
  • In 1982, the Hawaii native suffered a hip injury which forced her to sit out for the final four months of the season.



Stubblefield gained most of her amateur experience as a member of the University of Hawaii golf team.  She finished second in the 1975 AIAW National Collegiate Championship in San Diego.
