In 2012, So Yeon Ryu fired a career-low, 9-under 62 in Sunday’s final round to capture a six-shot win over Angela Stanford at the Jamie Farr Toledo Classic Presented by Kroger, Owens Corning and O-I. Ryu finished at 20-under-par for the event following rounds of 67-68-67-62 on the par-71 Highland Meadows Golf Club.

The LPGA and the Toledo Classic, Inc. Board of Trustees today announced that Marathon Petroleum Corporation (NYSE: MPC) has joined the LPGA family as title partner of the Toledo-based tournament, to be played July 18-21, 2013 at Highland Meadows Golf Club in Sylvania, Ohio.
LPGA Tour So Yeon Ryu had the Rolex Rankings Move of the Week with her win at the Jamie Farr Toledo Classic Presented by Kroger, Owens Corning and O-I moving 10 spots to No. 12.
LPGA Tour rookie So Yeon Ryu fired a final-round 9-under par 62 to win the Jamie Farr Toledo Classic Presented by Kroger, Owens Corning and O-I and become the fifth Rolex-First Time Winner this year. While Ryu won last year’s U.S. Women’s Open, this marks her first official LPGA Tour victory as a member.
