This year’s Evian Masters will run from Thursday 26th to Sunday 29th July 2012. The world's largest tournament, alongside the US Open, with prize money of 3,250,000 US dollars, the Evian Masters is co-sanctioned by the American LPGA tour and the European LET tour, attended by 111 of the world’s best golfers.

Evian Masters Final Round Notes and Interviews

Winner Ai Miyazato

Rolex Rankings No. 10 Ai Miyazato shot a final-round 70 to capture a two-shot victory at the 2011 Evian Masters Presented by Société Générale in Evian-les-Baines, France. Miyazato entered the final round with a two-shot lead over Stacy Lewis, Angela Stanford, Miki Saiki and Ran Hong. She was paired with Hong in the final group and the KLPGA member certainly pushed Miyazato early in the day. Hong birdied the second hole to cut Miyazato's lead to one. But Miyazato recorded three birdies on the front side to give herself a cushion when she made the turn.

Evian Masters Third Round Notes and Interviews

Rolex Rankings No. 10 and former Evian Masters champion Ai Miyazato leads by two strokes heading into the final round of the Evian Masters Presented by Société Générale in Evian-Les-Baines, France. Miyazato sits at 13-under-par after shooting a bogey-free 67 on Saturday. It was the third straight round in the 60s for Miyazato, who became a Rolex First-Time Winner at the 2009 Evian Masters. A five-time winner on the LPGA Tour in 2010, Miyazato's best finish so far this season came in a tie for fifth at the Sybase Match Play Championship.

Evian Masters Second Round Notes and Interviews

JLPGA member Miki Saiki leads by one stroke after two rounds of the Evian Masters Presented by Société Générale in Evian-Les-Baines, France. Saiki followed up her first-round 68 with a 5-under 67 on Friday at the Evian Masters Golf Club to take the outright lead at 9-under-par. Saiki had five birdies on the front nine and birdied No. 11 to get to 10-under before a bogey on the 12th dropped her back a stroke. Saiki tallied pars the rest of the way, giving herself a one-shot lead heading into the weekend over Rolex Rankings No. 10 Ai Miyazato, No. 15 Stacy Lewis, No. 18 Maria Hjorth, No. 20 Angela Stanford and KLPGA member Shin-Ae Ahn.
