Most amateurs should pay closer attention to the speed of their putts. Speed is more problematic than direction, and getting it wrong is the cause of most three-putts. Here's a drill I modified from one used by performance coach Rick Jensen.

This exercise is just Balance and the goal is to balance on one leg. A lot of people loose the ability to balance as they get older and that can cause a lot of swing faults. By working on your balance you can stay more balanced with your golf swing.

To consistently hit the sweet spot for maximum distance, you should strive to swing with a square club face at all times. Unless, of course, you are trying to hit an intentional curve ball.

This exercise is called Planks. It is great to work on your core stability. You want to make sure you keep your stomach muscles tucked in. Don’t let your butt stick up too much as you want to keep a nice flat back. If you find at any time that this exercise is too hard you can go to your knees.
