36-hole leader Brooke Henderson maintains her spot at the top of the leaderboard midway through the third round of the Cambia Portland Classic. She leads by one stroke at 14-under par through nine holes.
Henderson got off to a hot start, making birdie on her first two holes to take a two-stroke lead ahead of Caroline Masson. But Masson hung with Henderson on the front nine, shoot a 3-under 33 on the front to stay one behind the 17-year-old.
Both Masson and Henderson are looking for their first win on the LPGA Tour.
Sandra Gal has the low round of the day going Saturday, currently 7-under through 15 holes. She is tied for third with Alison Lee who is 5-under through 11 holes. They’re currently two strokes back of the lead.
