Recently the Angela Stanford Foundation hosted the fourth annual 'Night with the Stars' in Fort Worth, Texas at famous Joe T. Garcia's Mexican restaurant. Country music superstar, Tracy Lawrence, along with singer-songwriters Patrick Davis and Palmer Lee entertained the crowd under the stars.
All proceeds from the event benefitted the Angela Stanford Foundation's scholarship fund benefitting children who have been directly affected by cancer. According to the Angela Foundation website, the Foundation has given 24 scholarships away to Texas students affected by cancer and the fourth class of recipients were awarded scholarships this past May. There were four scholarship recipients in attendance at this year's event with over $57,000 raised for the Foundation.
Our scholarship recipients and country music stars were not the only ones shining that night. The Solheim Cup made an appearance and provided a great way for the supporters of the foundation to congratulate Stanford on an outstanding performance in Germany.
“Our annual 'A Night with the Stars' concert was a great success this year," said Angela Stanford. "We were able to raise scholarship money and enjoy a night of great food and amazing talent on the stage."
