Acer Connection Zones Outfitted With Acer Switch Series 2-in-1 Notebooks
And Skype™ Connect Players with Family and Friends
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla., April 28, 2015 - The Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) announced today that Acer, a global leader in computers, software and technology services, is the newest Official Marketing Partner in the LPGA family and will be the Official Tablet of the LPGA this tournament season.
As an Official Marketing Partner for the LPGA, Acer is sponsoring Acer Connection Zones, lounges outfitted with its award-winning Aspire Switch Series 2-in-1 notebooks at upcoming tournaments in North America. The popular Acer Aspire Switch Series are the Official Tablet of the LPGA and combine a full Microsoft Windows 8.1-based notebook and tablet in one flexible device that can switch between four modes including notebook, pad, display and tent.
Acer Connection Zones will be located in the player locker rooms as a venue for players to Skype™ with friends, coaches and family, keep up on news and relax. The Aspire Switch Series will also be leveraged at on-site tournament media centers, enabling global and domestic media to conduct interviews with players via Skype.
