U.S. Women’s Open champion Brittany Lang was honored by her hometown Dallas Stars at a recent NHL game against the New York Rangers.
Lang, who sported a custom jersey given to her by the Stars organization, was joined at center ice by Stars captain Jamie Benn and Rangers captain Ryan McDonough for the ceremonial puck drop and then spent the game with members of her family in the owner’s suite.
The McKinney, Texas native captured the 2016 U.S. Women’s Open at CordeValle in a three hole playoff victory over Anna Nordqvist.
