Lexi Thompson, Suzann Pettersen, Charley Hull

Defending champion Lexi Thompson will play alongside Suzann Pettersen and Charley Hull in the opening rounds of the Meijer LPGA Classic for Simply Give. Thompson finished outside the top-20 in her last start at the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship, her second worst showing of the year. The world No.4 has five top-10’s so far this season in addition to a win at the Honda LPGA Thailand.
Pettersen was in the hunt at Sahalee throughout much of the week, ultimately finishing in a share of 12th for the week. Pettersen did not play the Meijer LPGA Classic For Simply Give in 2015, but posted a third place finish in her first playing in 2014.
Hull is coming off her third consecutive top-20 finish having finished 16th at the season’s second major. She’s making her first start in this event this week.
Anna Nordqvist, Brittany Lincicome, Jessica Korda

Coming off her third consecutive top-10 including successfully defending her title at the ShopRite LPGA Classic, Anna Nordqvist will play alongside Brittany Lincicome and Jessica Korda in rounds one and two. Lincicome finished seventh in this event last year and has played some of her best golf of the season in recent weeks, playing in the final group at the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship before falling back with a final round 77 to finish T-22 for the week. Korda also struggled in Seattle, missing the cut after posting back-to-back top-10’s on Tour.
Natalie Gulbis, Lindsey McPherson, Cheyenne Woods

Natalie Gulbis makes her sixth start of the year at this week, looking to make her first cut of the season. She finished 75th in this event last year. The fan favorite will play alongside Lindsey McPherson (not pictured), a sponsor's invite, as well as Cheyenne Woods. McPherson is a graduate of Michigan State University who was invited to play in this event in 2014 as an amateur but will be looking to make the cut this time around. Woods is making her first start in this event, coming off her best finish of the season at the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship where was T-43 for the week.
Brooke Henderson, Ariya Jutanugarn, Christina Kim

Newly minted major champion Brooke Henderson who captured the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship by defeating world No.1 Lydia Ko in a playoff, makes her debut this week at the Meijer LPGA Classic. She will play alongside one of the hottest players on Tour in recent weeks, Ariya Jutanugarn, who won all three Tour events in the month of May and finished third behind Henderson and Ko at Sahalee Country Club. Christina Kim is the final member of this group, also playing great golf in recent weeks including two top-4 finishes and a T-39 performance at Sahalee. She will look to crack the top-40 in this event for the first time this week.
Lydia Ko, So Yeon Ryu, Gerina Piller
1:10 p.m. – Thursday – 1st Tee
8:10 a.m. – Friday – 10th Tee
World No.1 Lydia Ko makes just her second start in this event, having skipped last year’s playing. She finished in a share of 12th in 2014. She will play Thursday and Friday alongside So Yeon Ryu and Gerina Piller. Ryu posted her fifth top-10 finish of the year last week at Sahalee Country Club where she finished in a share of fourth, the same place she finished in the 2015 playing of the Meijer LPGA Classic. Piller was in contention throughout much of the week at Sahalee, ultimately finishing in a share of 12th for the week. She will have fond memories in her return to Michigan where she posted one of two runner-up finishes in 2015.
