Ariya Jutanugarn and Mirim Lee
54-hole leader Ariya Jutanugarn and first and second round leader Mirim Lee will play together in the final group on Sunday at the RICOH Women’s British Open. Both are in search of their first major championship victory. Jutanugarn became a first time winner earlier this season when she won all three LPGA Tour events in the month of May in which she held the 54-hole lead in each. She enters the final round with a two-stroke lead ahead of Lee at 16-under par and would make history with a win on Sunday in becoming the first player from Thailand to win a major championship. After leading the first two days, Lee wasn’t as aggressive on Saturday and allowed several players to pass her on the leaderboard before bouncing back with birdies on the back-nine to pull within two-strokes of Jutanugarn.
