Sei Young Kim
Having one of the most memorable finishes in 2015. Defending champion Sei Young Kim holed out her second shot with an 8-iron from 154 yards, on the first playoff hole to defeat Inbee Park to claim her second LPGA victory at the LOTTE Championship Presented by Hershey in 2015, Kim is looking to rebound after missing the cut at the ANA Inspiration. Already this season Kim has three top-10s including a win at the JTBC Founders Cup.
In Gee Chun
With three top-3 finishes in three starts so far this season, In Gee Chun will be one to watch this week in her first start in Hawaii. Chun, the Tour’s leading rookie, is currently second in scoring average.
Michelle Wie
There’s something about this event that brings out the best in Michelle Wie. The 2014 champion returns home to the site that ended her four-year winless drought. Wie coming off solid play in the first major of the season is looking to get back into the winner’s circle in 2016.
Lydia Ko
The top-ranked player in the world hasn’t finished outside the top-15 this season, including back-to-back wins at ANA Inspiration and Kia Classic and a runner-up finish at JTBC Founders Cup. Ko currently leads the Tour in Official Money, Scoring Average and Rolex Player of the Year.
Brooke Henderson
Brooke Henderson will tee it up for the first time this week at the LOTTE Championship Presented by Hershey. Currently, Henderson is ranked second in Top 10 finishes percentage with six top-10 finishes in her last six starts, no question Henderson will be one to watch this week in Hawaii.
Ai Miyazato
The 2012 champion returns to a site that brings back fond memories. While Ai Miyazato has struggled in 2016, finishing no better than 50th with one cut after the JTBC Founders Cup. A change in putting has sparked the Ai of old, one of the best putters on the LPGA Tour and the world’s No. 1 player.
Inbee Park
A tough start in 2016 for future LPGA Hall of Famer, Inbee Park, she’s looking for her first win on Tour this season but has already picked up two top-10 finishes in her last two starts. In four starts Park hasn’t finished outside the top-12 at the LOTTE Champions Presented by Hershey, including a runner-up finish in 2015.
Lee-Anne Pace
Building on her performance in Palm Springs Lee-Anne Pace hopes to make it back into the winner’s circle this week at the LOTTE Championship Presented by Hershey. She’ll have a chance if she can build on her solid finish at ANA Inspiration where she posted a top-15 finish.
Suzann Pettersen
The 2013 champion returns to a site that kick-started her 2013 season with her first of four wins that season. Suzann Pettersen is looking for her first win this year on Tour but has already picked up three top-10 finishes in six starts.
Ariya Jutanugarn
With two top-10 finishes this season, Ariya Jutanugarn heads to Hawaii looking to improve on her strong play at ANA Inspiration. Jutanugarn had four top-10 finishes in 2015 with a season best of a tie for a runner-up finish at the Pure Silk-Bahamas LPGA Classic
