GURNEE – Team England earned the most overall points during the first three days of fourball play at the UL International Crown and topped Pool B, which earns them the No.1 seed heading into the Sunday singles matches. Republic of Korea finished atop Pool A with eight points, giving Team Korea the No.2 Seed. The United States finished second in Pool B with seven points. Because they were tied with Chinese Taipei who also earned seven points in Pool A, a tie breaker was used to determine the seeding, giving the United States the No.3 spot and Chinese Taipei the No.4 seed. Earning the No.5 seed heading into Sunday is Team Japan, who played their way into the Sunday singles matches by winning a three-way playoff with Teams China and Thailand.

Match 25 – 11:02 a.m.
Chinese Taipei vs. Japan
Candie Kung vs. Ai Suzuki
Chinese Taipei’s Candie Kung will face Japan’s Ai Suzuki on Sunday morning. Kung won five points over the course of the first three days of the matches while Suzuki comes into the final match of the week having never won a match, halving matches the first two days and losing Saturday’s match. Despite playing in the 2014 UL International Crown, Chinese Taipei did not make it to Sunday, so this will be Kung’s first trip to the singles and a first for Suzuki as well who makes her debut in the matches this week.

U.S.A. vs. Japan
Stacy Lewis vs. Mika Miyazato
Team U.S.A’s Stacy Lewis will face Japan’s Mika Miyazato on Sunday. Lewis won three points for her team over the last three days with Miyazato securing two of her own. Lewis and her playing partner Gerina Piller defeated Miyazato and Haru Nomura on Saturday to clinch Team U.S.A’s berth to the Sunday singles matches. This will be the first time Lewis will play on Sunday at UL International Crown. Miyazato won her 2014 UL International Crown singles match over Onnarin Sattayabanphot 3&1.

U.S.A. vs. Chinese Taipei
Gerina Piller vs. Yani Tseng
Team U.SA.’s Gerina Piller will square off against Chinese Taipei’s Yani Tseng on Sunday. Piller played alongside Stacy Lewis on the first three days of competition, earning three points for the Americans. Tseng earned two points for her team over the course of the week. Piller and Tseng will compete in the Sunday singles matches for the first time since both their teams failed to qualify in 2014.

Republic of Korea vs. Japan
Amy Yang vs. Haru Nomura
Republic of Korea’s Amy Yang will face Japan’s Haru Nomura in the singles matches on Sunday. Yang played with In Gee Chun during the opening three days, earning four points for Team Korea. Nomura earned two points for her country. The pair will both make their first appearance in the Sunday singles matches having not participated in the 2014 UL International Crown.

Holly Clyburn vs. Ayaka Watanabe
England’s Holly Clyburn with face Japan’s Ayaka Watanabe on Sunday. Clyburn was teamed with Jodi Ewart Shadoff during the first three sessions, earning four points for Team England that included a trouncing defeat of Team Thailand on Saturday for the biggest win of the week at 7&5. The pair squared off earlier this week during the day two matches which finished with a halve. Watanabe drained a 30-footer for eagle on the first playoff hole Sunday morning to defeat Teams China and Thailand and advance her team to the singles matches.

In Gee Chun vs. Teresa Lu
Republic of Korea’s In Gee Chun will face Chinese Taipei’s Teresa Lu in the Sunday singles matches. Chun played alongside Amy Yang during the first three days of competition, earning four points during the week to earn the top position in Pool B. Lu earned three points for her team, who clinched their position at the top of Pool A. Both Chun and Lu will make their first appearance in the Sunday singles having not played in the 2014 matches.

Jodi Ewart Shadoff vs. Ssu-Chia Cheng
England’s Jodi Ewart Shadoff will face Ssu-Chia Cheng on Sunday. Shadoff found success during the first three sessions alongside playing partner Holly Clyburn. The pair earned four points for Team England which helped them clinch the top seed heading into the Sunday singles matches. Cheng played well alongside playing partner Candie Kung with the pair earning four points for Team Chinese Taipei and the top position in Pool A. Both Ewart Shadoff and Cheng will make their first appearance in Sunday's matches having not played in the 2014 event.

Republic of Korea vs. U.S.A.
So Yeon Ryu vs. Lexi Thompson
Republic of Korea’s So Yeon Ryu will square off against Team U.S.A’s Lexi Thompson on Sunday. Both Ryu and Thompson are veterans of the 2014 UL International Crown, but Ryu was the only one to make it to Sunday with Team U.S.A. failing to qualify in 2014. Ryu defeated Japan’s Sakura Yokomine 1-UP in the 2014 matches. Both Ryu and Thompson earned four points for their respective teams this week with Ryu playing alongside Sei Young Kim during the first three days and Thompson paired with Cristie Kerr.

Mel Reid vs. Cristie Kerr
England’s Mel Reid will face Team U.S.A’s Cristie Kerr in the Sunday singles matches. Reid demonstrated her ability to play alone this week in what was an usual situation that left her without a playing partner on day two. When Reid’s teammate Charley Hull was ill and unable to play, Reid took on Team Japan’s Haru Nomura and Mika Miyazato and nearly won the match, falling 1-Down to Japan. Reid and Hull defeated the Americans earlier in the week, winning 2&1 over Gerina Piller and Stacy Lewis. Kerr played alongside Thompson during the opening three days, winning four points for the Americans.

Charley Hull vs. Sei Young Kim
England’s Charley Hull will face Republic of Korea’s Sei Young Kim on Saturday. Hull bounced back from illness that forced her to miss the second session of the competition, joining Mel Reid to defeat the Jutanugarn sisters of Thailand 3&1 on Saturday. Kim played alongside So Yeon Ryu during the first three days, the pair earned four points for Team Korea. Both Hull and Kim will make their first appearance in the singles matches on Sunday.
