Sei Young Kim kicked off an incredible rookie season in 2015 with a win in her second start of the year at the Pure Silk-Bahamas LPGA Classic. Kim won in a playoff over Sun Young Yoo and Ariya Jutanugarn. Kim went on to win two more times in her first year on Tour, at the LOTTE Championship in Hawaii as well as the Blue Bay LPGA. She also took home the 2015 Louise Suggs Rolex Rookie of the Year award at season’s end.

11 of the top 20 players in the Rolex Rankings will tee it up at the season’s first event, the Pure Silk-Bahamas LPGA Classic. No.2 ranked Inbee Park is the top ranked player in the field with world No.1 Lydia Ko electing to begin her year in Ocala. The top ranked American, No.3 Stacy Lewis and No.4 Lexi Thompson are also in the field in the Bahamas as well as No.14 Anna Nordqvist and No.16 Brittany Lincicome.

12 winners from the 2015 season will tee it up in the Bahamas, including Cambia Portland Classic champion Brooke M. Henderson, Cristie Kerr the winner of both the 2015 Kia Classic and CME Group Tour Championship, Grand Slam winner Inbee Park and Lexi Thompson, a two-time winner last year.
Welcome To The Tour
10 members of the 2016 rookie class are in the field this week in the Bahamas. Former Arkansas Razorback Gaby Lopez, Ladies European Tour mainstay Holly Clyburn, three-time Epson Tour winner in 2015 and former Curtis Cup member Annie Park, as well as fellow Curtis Cup teammate Ashlan Ramsey.
33... And Counting
Juli Inkster begins her 33rd season on the LPGA Tour in 2016 and will tee it up at the season opening event in the Bahamas. Inkster has played in this event just once, missing the cut in 2014.
