Inbee Park captured her first major championship and first win on Tour at the 2008 U.S. Women’s Open at Interlachen Country Club, four-strokes ahead of Helen Alfredsson. Park began the final round two-strokes back of leader Stacy Lewis, who carded a 78 on Sunday to open the door for Park. With the win, Park became the youngest U.S. Women’s Open champion. It was four more years before Park won again on Tour, winning twice in 2012.
