It’s been a sweet return for Brooke Pancake.
Last week at the Pure Silk-Bahamas LPGA Classic, the 2013 rookie made her return to competitive golf after missing a year of competition due to injury. Pancake wasn’t in the field to start the week, but while attending the PGA Merchandise Show last Wednesday in Orlando, she received the call that she was in the field. Pancake stopped by the show to serve breakfast at the CHASE54 booth. With a little help from her other sponsor, Waffle House, the CHASE54 Ambassador made waffles with syrup and hot coffee for guests attending the show. Golf Channel also stopped by to document Pancake’s return.
“With Brooke coming back from an injury healthier than ever, we couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate the start of the season,” said Lulu Faddis, Creative Director and Chief Designer for CHASE54.
Pancake carded four sub-par rounds in her return to the Tour to finish T-42 in the Bahamas. It was her first competitive round on Tour since August of 2015.
