Amy Yang wrapped up a third-round 65 to extend her lead to five shots entering the final round of the Honda LPGA Thailand. Third round play resumed at 7:09 a.m. local time with Yang needing to finish five holes.
“You know, we been waking up early because the weather is getting up, so think it's important to keep good condition out there, like stay focused,” Yang said. “I won't do anything much. Just keep it simple. Be patient.”
Yang will be looking for her first win since the 2015 Honda LPGA Thailand, a stretch of 44 events without a win. Yang has 17 top-10 finishes in that time frame.
Looking to chase Yang down will be So Yeon Ryu and Moriya Jutanugarn who join Yang in the final group which tees off at 11:50 a.m.
Final round play gets underway at 9:38 a.m. local time.
