BIRMINGHAM, Ala – Tuesday, Shoal Creek, host of the 73rd U.S. Women’s Open conducted by the USGA, was closed due to heavy rains brought on by Subtropical Storm Alberto. All practice rounds were cancelled. Fans, media and volunteers were also asked to remain off the grounds for the remainder of the day.
